1. Motive
Providing Talent1.1 Expectations for Associated Developers
- The idea for our developers is to complete commissions on their own behalf.- These developers do not work for us, they work with us thus the title of "associated" developer.
- Associated Developers are by no means required to take on projects, however it may be found disrespectful to decline projects after explicitly stating to want to take them on.
1.2 Expectations for Partnered Developers
- Partnered Developers are Associated Developers with more responsibility, this means that everything that applies for Associated Developers also applies here.- Partnered Developers are given the responsibility of representing our brand through means of reaching out to new clients to take on projects, these may be handled by themselves or passed down.
- Partnered Developers are also expected to help the CEO with various his expectations, the details of which may very from partner to partner.
1.3 Expectation for CEO
- The CEO is also a Partnered Developer, the difference is that the CEO is considered a company by law under the name and branding.- To handle the finances.
- To handle any legal issues.
- Creation and upkeep of all services provided for developers, includes (but not limited to): Website/Portfolios, Servers and Discord.
2. Commissions
Our Market2.1 What/Why/How
We consider a commission as an "out-source project" and deliver it as a "product". Other people/groups/companies/etc may request us for a commission when, for example, it's cheaper for them or they do not have the expertise themselves. We complete the projects on our own and then send them over to our client which in turn will provide us with payment. Some developers may handle payment different than others, you are free in this.2.2 Profit
Of-course you make money with these commissions, though it may not be clear how you handle it. We currently take a 5% total cut on all profits made through internal commissions. If this commission was delivered by a Partner, that partner will receive 3% and only 2% will go towards the brand. 5% is the limit. Please note that the percentages stated here are not final and may not be updated, please refer to the last agreement you've agreed to.
2.3 Internal and External Commissions
We make difference in 2 types of commissions. Internal Commissions These are commissions where you represent our brand and thus give our brand a cut. External Commissions We understand that developers sometimes don't want to be just a "kc" dev, that's why we do allow developers to do commissions for themselves on the side. The only requirement to doing these is that they contact the CEO before starting the commission. Developers do not have to pay a cut towards the brand when doing these commissions, it is also expected they do not make heavy usage of our services when doing these commissions. Keep in mind that doing a lot of these commissions may seem selfish to other developers.3. How we spent our money
How we Invest3.1 Charity
Of-course everyone is looking to make profit in the end, although the goal is also very much so to help our Developers improve themselves. That's why, for now, we promise to spend at-least 50% of profits towards you. Here's some examples of how we could do that:
Pay for courses,
Pay for services like Adobe,
Give everyone a personal email address.
